Join our local, family-owned and operated, 35 years and counting home service company. Our company goal is to create safety and satisfaction for our customers by delivering the highest quality chimney, dryer duct, and air duct inspection, cleaning & repair services while allowing each team member the opportunity to contribute, grow, and prosper.

Purpose

To contact and help our neighbors schedule and receive high-quality chimney, dryer duct, and air duct services.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively visit neighborhoods in our service zones to engage homeowners and help them schedule necessary preventative maintenance for chimneys, dryer ducts, and air ducts.
  • Always respect homes with “No Solicitation” signs—these homes will not be approached.
  • Maintain a friendly, professional attitude while presenting our services and scheduling appointments.
  • If a customer is not home or does not require service at the time, leave a door hanger with our company information.
  • No payments are collected during visits. All services are billed after completion.
  • When a customer agrees to schedule, complete an appointment card and submit the customer’s chosen date, time, and contact information to the office.
  • Attend local home shows and community festivals to operate a service scheduling booth and promote our offerings.
  • Periodically, new outreach activities may be introduced to expand our reach. Participation in these activities is optional but encouraged.

Requirements

  • Outside sales experience is preferred.
  • You must be a people person and an extrovert.
  • A strong desire to help others and to do what’s right for the customer while maintaining due regard for the expansion and viability of the company is vital.
  • Being a self-starter is a must.
  • You will need your own car and a great pair of walking shoes.
  • Willingness to use your personal cell phone with company apps is helpful.
  • You must live a drug-free, healthy lifestyle and be of good appearance.
  • Valid California Driver’s License and legal ability to work in the United States.
  • Must live in one of our South Bay, San Mateo, or Fremont service zones.

Location and Commute

You will be required to attend bi-weekly team meetings at our location in San Jose and otherwise will commute to your assigned neighborhood for each work period.
